We have opportunities that will allow you to work in Commercial, Project Management, Design Management and Pre-construction.

We also welcome applications from those with unrelated qualifications, who may have started their career in another industry, but are really interested in a move to construction.

Our trainees & graduates will follow a comprehensive development programme. Through close collaboration with local colleges and universities, we make sure your studies equip you with the correct knowledge and skills to succeed.

You will work alongside the very best. The Directors of the business are all passionate about the development of new talent to the industry and will personally oversee your growth and development with regular informal and formal reviews/coaching/ mentoring and sharing of their knowledge and experiences, which will fast track you through to where you want to be.

  • Pay
    The rates of pay we offer are set at a competitive level to ensure we attract and retain the highest calibre people. Every employee has regular performance development reviews and these inform the annual salary review.
  • Pension
    We operate a defined contribution pension scheme through AVIVA. Upon joining, employees can choose how much to pay into the scheme as a percentage of basic salary and Torsion Group will pay an equal amount into the scheme up to a maximum of 5%.
  • Paid Holiday
    In addition to the bank and public holidays our employees receive a generous holiday allowance. An extra day’s holiday is given after every 5 years of service. Once a year, all employees can choose to purchase or sell up to 3 days additional holiday through our Flexible Working Holiday Scheme.
  • Team Events
    At least quarterly, we arrange Torsion Team events which are great fun, improve health and well-being and raise thousands for some really deserving local charities which are suggested by our employees and mean a lot to them. Examples are our annual Tour de Torsion Cycling Event, The Torsion Ten Thousand Step Challenge, where we supplied pedometers and all walked 10,000 steps every day in March, support to some local homeless shelters in lieu of buying Christmas cards and Golf Days.
  • Life Assurance
    If you die in service, our scheme will pay 4 times your annual salary to your beneficiary.
  • Private Medical Insurance
    For certain job roles/levels, we offer membership of the Torsion Group Private Healthcare Scheme, which is currently underwritten by BUPA.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
    Torsion Group offers a HMRC approved salary sacrifice scheme, enabling employees to save on the cost of buying a bike to cycle to work. This works by agreeing monthly reductions from their gross pay, saving income tax and NI.
  • Birthday Leave
    All our employees receive paid time off on their birthday. If this falls on a weekend, then you can choose either the Friday or Monday on either side of the weekend.
  • Employee Assistance
    We promote well-being at work with advice and information on health and safety, stress, sickness absence and more. Fit, healthy and motivated employees are the key to our success.
  • Childcare Vouchers
    Torsion Group offers a childcare voucher scheme. The value of the childcare voucher is taken directly from gross salary before any deductions, thus saving on tax and NI contributions.

  • Financial support for Further Education
    Torsion Group will provide financial support to employees who want to continue their education or learn new skills.
  • Professional Subscription Fees
